Connie Ammann is a Licenced Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She works fulltime for Self Care Therapy Inc. providing excellent therapy services to her clients at their homes. Connie graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1998 from Baker College in Flint, MI and became Certified in Lymphedema Therapy in August of 2009. She has worked in various areas of rehabilitation including Skilled Nursing, Inpatient Rehabilitation and Home Health. Most recently, she has been working in the Acute Care setting with critically ill patients and with Self Care Therapy. She enjoys working with her patients and their families in order to increase independence and return them to their previous life roles. Her biggest priority and joy is her two young boys and husband.
David Wilson is a Licenced Occupational Therapy assistant since 2008. Graduated at Cape Fear Community College, Wilmington NC. He recieved training in Lymphedema therapy with the Vodder School in 2010 and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in April 2011. In a previous career he achieved a batchelors degree in Geography at Appalachian Staty University, Boone, NC. He loves to see his patients improve and achieve independence. David is a native of coastal NC. When he is not working he enjoys his wife, son and the ocean waves.
Amanda Morgan graduated with a bachelor of Social Work at UNCW in 2001 and later with a Master of Occupatonal Therapy from East Carolina University in 2006. She has since become certified in Assistive Technology and in August 2009, became Certified in Lymphedema Therapy. She is excited to be able to help clients suffering with Lymphedema to manage the edema and regain function.
Regina Hunter (Genie) graduated at East Carolina Univeristy with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2009. She became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2011. She has had a passion for Yoga as a form of exercise. In the summer of 2014 she completed an intense yoga certification training in the Mexican desert and became a Certifed Yoga instructor. She blends her skills as an Occupational Therapist, to help people achieve their daily goals, with her Yoga training. She has developed our Medical Yoga program and enjoyed great results with our patients. Genie is a native of NC.
